I am very skeptical of people winning from this site. I have noticed that Karene has won twice in a short period of time (December 18 and November 22, 2011). Seems very suspicious!!!

In October I actually won a trip to Los Angeles, a quebec weekend getaway and a 100$ gift certificate for Mikes all in one week! And I win atleast one contest a month, sometimes more. people do win, it just depends on how committed you are to entering daily contests and finding clues. I don’t post all that I have won, and many people don’t. You cannot base your contest entries solely on this site, you have to reach out and find local radio stations and t.v. stations, and newspapers.
I have entered numerous sites and I have never won anything. I have been doing this for almost one year. I am very skeptical of contests period. Half the time, the links do not work or there is a problem with the website. Most contests DO NOT seem legitimate. I do however, receive a lot of advertising from the contests that I enter. As you have indicated, I do not solely rely on this sight. I am forever seeking other sites as well.
I am simply addicted to entering contests. I wasn’t really winning much (little things), but this past month has been unbelievable! Here’s some of my wins, Noddy Toy Prize from Treehouse, SpyKids dvd’s (complete set) from Saveland, Smurf Movie dvd, from SavvyMom, 4 tickets to DisneyLive from Wave radio station. I also won a CakeBoss bobblehead from TLC (been over a month & still waiting on that prize.) Also, just yesterday, my hub picked up the 4 tickets he won to see Shen Yun from K-Lite radio station! I, personally have won lots of contests in the past year and I do not usually post my wins. Artman posts the contests, they are usually not contestcanada.net sponsored and I find he does a great job of screening them, thanks Artman! I only enter contests from this site as I like the way it is set up.

I totally agree with the previous posts. Just keep entering and eventually you will won something! In this past month I have won 3 bottles of perfume (All from different sites/contests) and a pair of shoes.. I have been doing this for about 3 years now, and it comes and go’s with winning, but you will if you keep trying!

As I have indicated, I have been doing this for almost a year. I don’t just enter one or two draws but several. It seems that a lot of draws do not work properly or a lot of them seem to be open to residents of the US. All I get for entering is a lot of advertisements from various businesses but do not seem to win.
Keep at it Debbie. For most of us it’s a hobby. And it usually pays off. It may take some time, but I have no doubt you’ll see some wins in 2012 if you maintain your entries.
I agree with Artman, and the others. Its a fun hobby and in time you will win something. Just stick with the brands that you recognize and are reputable and you’ll do fine. Also, they usually have a opt-in for there newsletters which I don’t normally sign up for so try that and maybe you won’t get as much spam. Just use your best judgement and if it doesn’t feel right then don’t enter it. But for the most part companies want your business so the contests they offer are honest. Think positive and keep entering! Good luck!

For example, in NFalls our local food bank puts together gift baskets of toys etc. for famillies in need that might not get a Christmas otherwise…
Or if you won something like school supplies & wanted to donate that to a school in need… I know of schools in Niagara that could benefit.

I won “3rd prize” in the Thomas Sabo facebook contest. $100 credit for their jewellery. The email says I must purchase the jewellery from their website on my credit card and they will refund my card $100. That sounds fishy to me. Not going to do it.
