Air Transat offers direct flights to Croatia from Toronto! Been a few years of service at this point. During peak holiday times; am uncertain how much service exists off-season.
The late Anthony Bourdain’s episode on Croatian culinary and winery experiences offered some great insights.
Still found it weird when The Bachelor was filming in Dubrovnik several years ago, the male contestants had to do a challenge while wearing Scottish kilts. They ought to have been filmed in dance attire relative to their host country (which provided the tv network with cash to film there in a boost for Croatian tourism) instead.
That’s good to know re: flights to Croatia. Anthony Bourdain… 🙁 some of the last texts he sent were published and I remember reading them and feeling so sad for him. Heartbreaking.
