It is sort of a ‘mancave’ I am writing about the Hamilton Airforce assoc..HAFA located in Dundas ontario..128 King east. It is a veterines hangout plus open to the public. People can’t get it that it’s open to the public and WW#2 vets are very few now. The airforce club has a roof problem and needs some upgrading. There’s a hall there for receptions and business meetings etc. The place is full of memorabilia and a huge plane outdoors. It’s a heritage of sorts and members remember the bustle and good times. I cater there from time to time. I tried doing a lunchtime thing there but too many franchise and drive-thru places stand before the club. Finances are awful w/club due to lack of customers coming there..The leaking roof(which is a flat roof has caused the club to not rent the hall. If you know anyone who’d like to help the club..it would be a great story..and would save it from closing and selling.
