Description: Eight years ago we ripped out our kitchen in preparation to renovate. Unfortunately I became critically ill and spent the next 8 months at VGH in Vancouver. Long story short….due to disability/health we have been unable to renovate. I love cooking, a gas kitchen would enable me to cook a turkey, bake cookies with my son appreciating the convection cooking process, or use my 8 year old new pots to get a professional even cooking process provided by a gas cooktop. In essence…putting in a safe, disability accessible kitchen and no more living life by counter top appliances! (Did I mention we don’t have countertops! :o) The construction of my kitchen would be amazing.

    Hello
Me and my husband just bought a house and are enjoying it very much except for the very drafty windows. expensive to replace, and where we live the economy and job prospects are pretty sad. We are throwing money down the drain in heating costs, but do no have the money to replace the problem. It would be great to win a lump of cash and save a bundle in the future. Good luck everyone!

Me and husband bought a home in July of 2013. We went through a massive renovation and went over budget by at least 40000$ That amount was originally allocated towards the re-doing of the basement and now we are left with a completely demolished basement without any way of getting it back in shape. It would be extremely helpful to win this prize as it would mean our children will have a safe and enjoyable basement to spend time in, with at least the drywall and floors in place.

I forgot to mention…we live in a BC box home, and along with the shell of a kitchen, we have copper wiring, a main bathroom that needs to be wheelchair accessible, a strangled septic system thanks to a cherry tree, and a partridge in a pear tree!

Smile, you only live once, so you better doit right the first time!
