When I was just an ‘aunt’ (pre-kids) like you are an uncle Artman, I could not stand listening to Treehouse (kids channel) in the background that my sister would have on for her kids all the time. Now – right at this very moment I’m watching the ever-present Treehouse with my 4 and 2 year old……oh the memories of hating it and sleeping in! (Now, I secretly love the Backyardigans!) Oh, and seriously – check out Phineas and Ferb. Awesome show – not kidding!
I haven’t been converted yet. I still can’t watch them. They make me fall asleep.
Totally understand. If you like ‘adult-ish’ cartoons (tamer ones than South Park or Family Guy – awesome shows) then Phineas and Ferb you may enjoy. It’s not a Treehouse Show. (I watched Looney Toons well into my teens and will still tune in once in awhile :)) Yeah…I’m a 36 yr old female mother of 2 who still loves her cartoons!
