*crossing fingers* maybe now that massive hole in the wall that was made to ‘open up the room’ will actually get finished! A year later…haha.

My name is Cheryl. Both my husband and I are teachers and are desperately looking for some help. I graduated from teachers college over three years ago. The area where we live in has an overabundance of teachers making it impossible to get a job (3000 applied to the supply list only 100 got on this year). Two years ago we took a a job in Dubai teaching, which in the long run turned out to be the best experience of our lives (traveling to over 20 countries). Now we have returned home this year to get married, buying a house and having to do a surprising amount of reno’s. My husband was lucky enough to get a teaching job, but I unfortunately I have not. I have started up my own yoga business as a result; while I love what I do it has still been rough. We have a huge debt to fill, and right now I am traveling to 9 different studios trying to make a living. It is my dream to renovate our basement into a yoga studio, having my clients come to me rather than carrying a hockey bag of 15 mats, 12 wooden blocks and many other supplies with me. Just last week I strained my sciatic nerve (so embarrassing being a yoga instructor!). Our basement right now is totally 70’s style right now, paneling, carpet, grungy bathroom the whole bit! Looking for some help and wondering if you can make my dream come to life! xox Completely understand this is a long shot, but thought I would try. Yours truly, Cheryl

Dreaming of a less drafty and frosty windowpanes this winter throughout the house. $2500 towards renovations of my old aluminum windows would be ideal.
