    I’ve actually tried this particular product, and it WORKS.

    Mind you, there are some odd side-effects. Brushing your hair sometimes ends up with the hair stretching instead of separating; you have less tangles, but some of them might need tackling with fingers or a hair pick if you want to be gentle.
