Enter the Holiday Memory Photo Contest here for a chance to win a $5000 Black’s gift card. I can submit one of the many photos of me sitting on Santa’s lap at the mall but I’m not going to because I still haven’t forgiven my parents for that. Santa never once brought me what I wished for. Another contest I cannot enter because I do not have enough social networking friends to spam and poke, or enough relatives online to guilt into voting for me after annoying everyone by begging for votes.
The quality and originality of these voting contests has nothing to do with winning. I assume the usual crowd will win.
I don’t like contests that ask for you to give email addresses of friends, the friend’s don’t always want their name given; as well, it doesn’t make me feel very happy to have give friend’s names in order to win a contest.. I feel that is very unfair.. Any legitimate contest company- should not ask a person to give personal information like that in order to achieve the goal of winning any contest!
In agreement– it’s like being in a popularity contest. Remember the high school king/ queen of the ball crowning. Oops I’m giving up my age with that statement!
