I was emailed back in the beginning of September that I won Free Hydro for 1 year from Grasshopper Solar but have not received my prize yet. I have been asked a few times for my phone number but still no call from them. I will keep you posted if I receive anything.
I received my cheque today for $3600 from Grasshopper Solar who ran the contest to win my hydro for one year. Thanks to the group at Grasshopper, especially Yvonne.

It can be tough to win a prize, and sometimes we might think that some of these contests might be a scam, it isn’t, it’s just that they receive a lots of entries.
To increase your luck, focus on Canadian contests only. The odds are much better.

I have been entering contests on this site for many years. I enter all that I am eligible for as often as eligible to. I keep track of wins and find that over the years both frequency of wins and total yearly monetary value is decreasing. Wonder if it is because more people are entering?
Yes, Fay it’s the Facebook effect. With “snail mail” contests I won weekly-sometimes more than once a week. We can still win but the odds are now quite daunting. Good Luck!
Just won a Canada 150 commemorative $10 silver coin from Basilla pasta.
Oops also won a $100 Saks Fifth Avenue gift card too. So I can verify that many contests (at least these two I entered) are legit! Keep trying!

Fay, I also noticed that big prizes are not so often now. I only began entering in contests in 2016. I could easily have entered in contests way back in 2001, but I didn’t bother, I thought it was too much trouble. Big mistake! Since 2016, I won a trip to Rome worth $13,000; I also won a Kitchen Aid Mixer last year worth $480, and the smallest prizes I’ve won is $20 Subway gift card, and a bag of Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee worth $59. I also hope to win the Princess Margaret Lottery and the Heart&Stroke Lottery lol

I’ve been entering online contest off and on since 2010, 2012,2015 and 2016.
Most were contests i found either on a product or magazines. I have won -3 trips. for 2, flight, hotel, event tickets, shows, including spending money (Las Vegas,Miami, Hawaii), autographed cooking books, designer plates, kitchen appliances, and my first flat screen tv (back in the day). ,patio set,. Then life got busy, and I stopped.
About 2 months ago I found this site!! I love it.

Won movie passes for a movie that wasn’t playing in any theaters in my city.
Maybe you can give them to someone who has the movie in their city.
IT’s the reason I don’t try for preview movie passes in major cities-I don’t live in a major city.
If they are for a family movie – donate them to your local children’s hospital. It’s a nice break for families who are staying in the area and need a break.
A few years ago, we won 6 nights at any Hilton hotel in the world plus a check and a gift card and 2 tickets on American Airlines! Last year, we won a Valerian prize pack from Landmark theaters which was some fun swag like a tshirt, funko figurines, and 10 free admissions to the movies. Recently, we won a silver coin from Jane’s fish (we’re still waiting on it).

I’ve been entering online contests since 2008. Some of the bigger wins have been $10,000 cash, tickets to every show at Hamilton Place for a year, and Tim Hortons coffee for a year. Lots of smaller stuff too. Some years are better than others. Pretty dry this year. Did just win a PS4 pro and Destiny 2 game from Rockstar energy drink. Just in time for Christmas!
