Shadow Play

Shadow Shields

What It Is: If you’ve ever had your makeup professionally done, then you probably already know that most makeup artists will prefer to do your entire eyes before they worry about your face – including foundation and concealer. yet most women will start with their face and work from there. The ‘right’ way is the makeup artist way, simply because there’s a huge potential for fallout as you brush on those glittery, smokey shadows. That is…until now.

Shadow Shields is a relatively new innovation that keeps dusts and flakes and most importantly, colour, from spreading around your face as you create that perfect smokey eye. Not only will it prevent fallout, these disposable adhesive strips are also useful for helping to create a gorgeous, crisp line for your cat eye liner and / or your contoured eye, meaning it also functions as a beauty tutorial for those still perfect their dream look. Available in packages of 30, there’s enough glam in one little box to keep you going for weeks at a time.

Who It’s For: Your would-be makeup artist friend, to add to her arsenal. Your teenage daughter, to stuff her stocking. Yourself, because this is a serious game changer for eyeshadow fiends.

What It Costs: $9.99 USD for a box of 30.

Where It’s At: You can order online in the U.S. or Sephora in Canada is just rolling them out.

I’m giving away a box of Shadow Shields to a pretty reader of mine! Want to win? Here’s how to enter:
