KiiXin’ It New School

KiiX High Heel ProtectorsWhat It Is: Look above and you’ll see…nothing. But that’s kind of the point. If, like myself, you’ve ever owned a beloved pair of high heels, only to have the heels themselves become so scuffed up to the point where you have to trash ’em, then today I may as well be your best friend for introducing you to this amazing, awesome product. KiiX are durable, clear stickers that can be applied to matte or shiny heels. They’ll protect your stilettos from getting those unsightly gauges – yet they’re also completely invisible unless you’re looking really hella closely.

KiiXKiiX are super easy to apply too – each package contains four stickers, meaning you can protect two pairs of shoes (although you can also buy bigger-sized packages for the shoe lover in your life). Simply peel it off and apply right above the actual heel point, smooth it on, and boom, your fave shoes will be saved from a lifetime of battery. They’re also replaceable; if you wear a particular pair of heels a lot, it’s simple to remove the sticker and replace with a new KiiX. And they’re weather resistant, helping to protect your beloved strappies or pumps from the weather damage Canadian winters in particular can cause. And if your heels aren’t sky high you can also trim ’em down for a perfect fit with every pair you own. The long and short of it is – if you’re buying someone a pair of shoes (or know a shoe hoarder), these should accompany every pair you bestow on someone.

Who It’s For: Your shoe-obsessed bestie, as a fun ‘you need this in your life’ introductory gift. Your never-met-a-pair-of-shoes-she-didn’t love wife, to go with the fabulous pair you bought for her birthday. Your entire cadre of bridesmaids, so they can re-wear those festive wedding shoes well after the big day.

What It Costs: Each package (which remember, protects two pairs of shoes) is $9.99.

Where It’s At: You can order direct through the Just for KiiX website, or if you live in Calgary, pop by Nordstrom, they carry ’em. Nordstrom also has KiiX available online.

As a fun, final note – I’m also giving away five packages of KiiX to five lucky winners! Want to save your fave shoes? Here’s how to enter to win one of five KiiX sets:
