Dare Candy Company REALFRUIT are the Perfect Snack #glutenfree

Dare Candy Company RealfruitIn our family, we’re all about moderation. Ice cream for breakfast, staying up until the sun goes down and candies as a food group. The Kids earn privileges that usually amount to candies as snacks. Nothing the matter with enjoying each day and living life to the fullest. The only problem is that Max and I have hypoglycemia and I’m constantly thinking like a parent so I still watch what The Kids eat.

Dare Candy Company makes Parents Choices Easier

Dare Candy Company is a Canadian, family-owned company with a 120-year history of providing Canadians with the quality products that make every snacking, entertaining and lunchbox occasion better. The company was a pioneer in offering peanut-free food solutions, and continues to develop delicious new cookies, candies, fruit snacks, crackers and fine breads to satisfy the changing needs of Canadian families. Key brands include Breton, Bear Paws, RealFruit, Whippet, Simple Pleasures, Boulangerie Grissol and Wagon Wheels.

Our Family have enjoyed Dare brands for years so we were excited to try out their newest product; REALFRUIT Berries, Gummies and Chews. I was interested in seeing what a candy made with real fruit juice, natural fruit flavours and no added colours, gluten or gelatin (no animal products) tasted like. The consensus was unanimous — Amazing.

Dare Candy Company Realfruit Berries

After The Kids had their first taste, they both started singing the song “if all the raindrops were lemon drops and gum drops, oh what a rain it would be”. I used to sing this song to them all the time but haven’t for at least a year. The gummies were so soft and chewy yet didn’t get stuck in your teeth. Just the way I like them. Clearly The Kids were fans and so was I.

Dare Candy Company Realfruit Gummies

Even though The Kids don’t have nut allergies, Ed does and I appreciated that two of the three products were made in Nut-free facilities. Two of them also have 0 fat and sodium. The best part is that if I only eat half of the servings (up to 6 candies!) they only count as one snack for me (11 carbs).

Dare Candy Company Realfruits Chews

If you’re looking for the perfect portable snack that comes in individually wrapped packages, that the kids will love, has real fruit juice in it and comes in raspberry, lemon, orange, cherry, strawberry and blueberry flavours than look no further than Dare Candy REALFRUIT Berries, Chews and Gummies.

I was hoping for a cookie recipe but they didn’t have one. But I suppose it wouldn’t be that hard to create a cookie featuring Dare Candy sweets. So I choose No-Baked Chocolate Squares that totally look like fudge squares and that makes it interesting.

I would love to try making the two-toned soup with crackers by Breton. We always have several cans of soup in the pantry so this one is definitely a keeper. Thank you 🙂

We have family traditions but as the kids have gotten older they have sort of faded away for us. Now that we are grandparents (very young ones) we would like to invest in a home near the water and get a small boat so that our grandchildren can enjoy nature like their parents had years before. Thank you! 🙂

The four cheese ravioli looks like something I could get my picky eater to eat…and I’m talking about my husband lol. My little guy is easier to feed than my husband is

I would love to do the 4 cheese ravioli recipe. Breton has gluten free crackers, and being GF sometimes makes it difficult for new recipes, now this I can do! Thanks!
