One day, a couple of years back, our family bumped into some friends at the food court in the mall. They were impressed that our kids were eating food we brought from home for them, thinking we were of the healthy elite. Well, we snickered over it, knowing that it’s simply not true. While we would love for our kids to only eat healthy food, the truth is we would have gladly been able to run to the nearest restaurant and get them something they would eat, but my boys are the pickiest of the picky eaters!
Well that’s no longer, because Tim Horton’s now offers Grilled Sandwiches! They have an amazing Panini line up including my boys favourite lunch – Grilled Cheese!
The other four delicious delicacies include: Tuscan Chicken, Chipotle Turkey, Smoked Ham & Cheese and Bacon, Tomato & Cheese and are available for $5.29. The Grilled Cheese is just $3.99.
After a morning of Christmas shopping, I picked Hubster up at work to enjoy lunch with the fam. We decided to order two Panini combos and share so we could try more than one kind. We decided on the Tuscan Chicken and the Chipotle Turkey. Both were really really good! I was impressed! I think my favourite was the Tuscan Chicken though, I can’t wait to have it again! The boys of course got the grilled cheese and even a man sitting beside us leaned over to tell my son that it looked like a ‘killer cheese sandwich’! Panini envy from the man with the chili? yes, I think so!

XLarge tea, 2 cream 2 Sugar, whole wheat bagel toasted with butter is my usual order. I do looooove the Vanilla Dip donuts, but don’t usually get them myself. But if someone buys a box of donuts at work, thats always the one I grab!
