   Thanks for stopping by! We're very pleased to roll-out our new discussion forums. Some of you will remember we tried this a while ago and ran into serious SPAM problems. No more! We have better safeguards against junk comments with this new software. We'll also be adding some moderators - if you're interested please let us know. We'll likely add some posting guidelines very soon, but for now please just follow two simple rules: - no spam links (cheap Viagra! etc.), and - be nice to others (like good Canadians do) That said, jump in and have fun!    This site is awesome! Whoever it is that writes the comments/descriptions of each contest is SO FUNNY! I learned my lesson not to read my daily email from you with my mouth full of anything! LOL You should be a comedy writer. You make my day, the descriptions are delightfully funny. What a great sense of humour!!!!!

   Great advice on what is required to enter each contest. Avoids wasting time filling out information on sites that you don't qualify for.

   Greatest site I have ever seen for contests. Really appreciate the fact that rules (frequency of entering, eligibility, etc) are so clear. It is very annoying to have to go through a whole signup for a contest only to discover that you do not qualify. No problem with that here. Thank you

   I must say that it is well organised. At least we do not goi through a whole contest apply form to finally discover that we are not elligible. Furthermore, to search between categories is really easy. Good job!

    thank you ContestC, I have a query/suggestion, only because it would be my preference ( and I do note the "bottom of page" button)but what about reversing the order of the forum entries, so that the most recent are first, might save a wee bit of effort, if that is a programing possibility

    that's a great suggestion dnhpwr, thanks! Technically, I'm sure it's possible, but I do hesitate for one reason. Most all of the forums that i'm familiar with do flow from top to bottom chronologically, so I wonder if we'd create confusion by switching that up. Also, since all the Canadian contest listings flow in the same order, again it might confuse things if one area of the site flows differently from another.

    But please, keep the ideas coming! We may not act on all of them but we'll consider them all carefully.

    I tried suggesting a contest from Bayview Village, don't know if I did It right, can you let me know if you thought it worthwhile ( I did do a site search before and found only the "garden contest" from the same source), and by the by I really enjoy checking out all the comments, almost more than entering the contests

    I've been on a forum that has contests and other content for about a month and a half. I have enjoyed myself there but am pretty contests-oriented so thought I'd check you out.

    Hi all. I, too, think this is an awesome site. I used to spend a couple of weeks of the year searching for contests and would eventually give up cuz of all the crap that one has to go through and spam and spyware and and and ... till this year I stumbled across this site and, just like you guys, I'm hooked.

    
    

    You guys make it so easy to enter contests - especially since they're sorted into categories like 'daily'. I spend an hour, or so, in the mornings now going through each of the daily contests that I like (pretty much anything that doesn't have to do with makeup, a complete makeover or a barnie dvd collection.

    
    

    I finally found a contest (wisers.ca) that has to do with alcohol only to find that the contest is already over ... DOH!!! ... oh well, c'est la vie right?!?

    I really enjoy this site, and following all the comments, and really sorry to see that negative stuff going on. However I am wondering if anyone else is bothered by shoe sales men using these forums for selling,doesn't seem terribly apropriate to me.

    Sorry for all the shoe spam. I've done a clean-up and banned the offending spammers. Hopefully that will keep them at bay for a while. For now though, these forums are 100% spam free.

    Hi Moppy - I get a lot of that type of spam too. Actually, I keep a separate e-mail address for entering contests, and I've noticed the amount of spam going to that account had tripled over the past few weeks. I don't know how the 'lottery winner' scam works, but I imagine they start by getting your contact info and try to trick you into paying a release fee or something like that.
