Wins are always great, but sometimes the prize isn’t all that valuable or meaningful to you. Or perhaps it is valuable, but you feel that there might be someone else who could make better use of it. Feel free to share ideas for donating prize wins here.

I love the idea of donating wins that might not be of particular use to you.
This idea spiralled out of the generosity of 2 members donating their YMCA certificates so that underpriviliged children might be able to attend camp.

Some thoughts…
If you win food you don’t need/want…. try your local food bank.
Toys …. local charities for Christmas toy drives.
School supplies…. ask around about schools in need (I work at a poverty stricken school)
Clothing/Toiletries…. Women’s shelter
Pet food…. local pet shelter/rescue organization
Books…. seniors centre

Just some ideas…. “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” – Ghandi

I just received my 5 game Prize Pack from Orville Redenbacher’s Kick Off The Fun contest…and had the nicest pleasure donating it to out neighborhood outreach”DeltAssist”program-i feel great knowing how much fun some child will enjoy them in the near future.
