In the last few weeks I’ve won 3 separate double passes to see “John Carter”, “Project X” and “21 Jump St.”!

Oh and the only good thing about “John Carter” was that the guy was shirtless about 90% of the time.

I won one of the Steven & Chris Weekly Prize Packs (cookbook, gliding discs?, 10 bags of pretzel crisps, YMCA 2 wkpass, yoga mat & dvd, bag full of PC Blue Menu products & home entertaining set) and when I got home I won tickets to see Def Leppard/Poison from a radio station!

I have just won the West Jet “Rock of Ages” musical tickets – for its performance in my city! The tickets have arrived and they are prime tickets – orchestra seats. The value of the two tickets would be approx $160! This makes my third win since October on online contests… friends want to ‘rub my head and/or tummy’ for luck… a bit disturbing that.

Won the G Adventures Facebook Earth Day Facebook contest for a trip to Costa Rica or Thailand…. my jubiliation was short-lived however.
This was probably the only contest I did not read the fine print on… I have to cover my own flights. $1,000 to Costa Rica or triple that to Thailand… trip must be booked by June 30 & because I work in education, would need to be taken THIS summer, leaving me zero time to scrape together the funds, being a single mom coming off the heels of a costly divorce.
Non-transferable, too…of course…
I am BEYOND heartbroken. Both places have been on my bucket list & to be SO CLOSE and to have to let it slip through my fingers….I feel sick.

Thought I had figured out a way … a bunch of family & friends offered to give me their Air Miles… and Air Miles won’t allow it . They want to charge 15cents/mile plus tax to transfer which will work out to more than the cash cost of the ticket.
I want to weep.
