Contest Rules This sweepstakes is open to residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) and the United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) and is subject to and governed by these rules (the “Contest Rules”) and applicable Canadian law. This Contest is void where prohibited by law. Entry in this Contest constitutes acceptance of the “Contest Rules”. No purchase necessary. SPONSOR: The Contest is sponsored by 1923 Main Street and The Finer Side of Travel Blog. CONTEST PERIOD: The Contest opens at 3:00:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, January 21, 2018 and closes at 6:00 PM (Eastern Time) on Sunday, February 4, 2018 (the “Contest Period”). ELIGIBILITY: The Contest is open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) and the United States (excluding Alaska and Hawaii) who have reached the age of majority in the province/territory/state in which they ordinarily reside, and who have a valid email address. Employees of the Sponsor, its advertising and promotional agencies, and who are domiciled with such employees or who are immediate family members of such employees, are not eligible to participate in the Contest. For the purpose of the Contest Rules, a person is an “immediate family” member” of another if that person is the spouse, parent, sibling, or child of the other. HOW TO ENTER: To enter the Contest, follow the instructions below: 1. ONLINE ENTRY i. Find the contest entry online from any of the official social media channels of MikeBelobradic.com (and related properties) during the Contest Period. ii. Complete the contest entry form. This includes confirmation that you have agreed to and shall be bound by the Contest Rules. iii. Additional contest entries will be provided if you choose to complete any additional offers. PRIZE: 1. There will be one (1) prize awarded. The prize will consist of a single Star Wars Boba Fett Backpack by Bioworld. The approximate retail value of the Prize is CAD$70.00 (approx. US$50.00) 2. The Prize must be accepted as awarded and cannot be transferred, assigned, substituted or redeemed for cash. The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if any Prize cannot be awarded for any reason. CONTEST DRAW AND WINNER SELECTION: A random draw will be held on February 4, 2018 after 6:00PM (Eastern Time) to select one entrant at random who will be eligible to win the Prize. HOW TO CLAIM YOUR PRIZE: The Sponsor will attempt to contact the selected entrant by e-mail within 2 days of the draw. At that point we will need to get your address and phone number to ship your prize. If the Sponsor is unable to contact the selected entrant after 3 attempts within 2 days, that selected entrant shall lose the right to be awarded the Prize and the Sponsor may, in its discretion, select another entrant to be awarded the Prize. The awarding of a Prize will be conditional upon the selected entrant correctly answering a skill-testing question, without assistance of any kind. Each selected entrant may be required to furnish proof of identification. The Sponsor shall not be responsible for any delay in the awarding or delivery of any Prize for any reason outside of its control. A Prize will only be delivered to a verified winner. If a selected entrant is found to be ineligible, declines to accept the Prize, or in the event that a Prize confirmation is returned as undeliverable, the Prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner at the Sponsor's sole discretion. RELEASE: Each winner of a Prize will be required to execute a release (the “Release”) that confirms the Prize winner’s: (i) eligibility to enter the Contest and compliance with the Contest Rules; (ii) acceptance of the Prize as offered; (iii) release of the Sponsor, its employees, directors, officers, suppliers, agents, sponsors and administrators, and all their affiliated and associated entities and advertising and promotional agencies (collectively, the “Releasees”) from any and all liability for any loss, harm, damages, cost or expense arising out of participation in the Contest, participation in any Contest-related activity or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the Prize, including but not limited to costs, injuries, losses related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, rights of publicity or privacy, defamation, or portrayal in a false light, or from any and all claims of third parties arising there from; and (iv) grant to Sponsor of the unrestricted right, in the Sponsor’s sole discretion, to produce, reproduce, publish, broadcast, communicate by telecommunication, exhibit, distribute, adapt and otherwise use or re-use in all media now known or hereafter devised, in connection with the Contest the winner’s name, photograph, likeness, voice and biography, in the promotion of the Contest and exploitation thereof. The executed Release must be returned to the Sponsor within 10 business days of notification or the selected entrant will be disqualified and the Prize forfeited. Upon entering this Contest, all participants release the Releasees and all their respective employees from any potential liability related to the Prizes and the use and/or misuse of the Prizes CONDUCT: By participating in this Contest, each entrant agrees to abide and be bound by the Contest Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which decisions shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual from the Contest, and to ban that individual from participation in any future promotion of the Sponsor, if the Sponsor finds or believes such individual (i) is tampering with or damaging, or attempting to tamper with or damage, the entry process or the operation of the Contest or the Contest website; (ii) is using any automated or robotic equipment to generate and/or submit entries into the Contest, (iii) is acting in violation of the Contest Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or (iv) is annoying, abusing, threatening or harassing the Sponsor, the Sponsor's agencies, other entrants or any other person (collectively, the “Prohibited Acts”). THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES OR ANY OTHER LEGAL REMEDY AVAILABLE TO IT FROM ANY PERSON COMMITTING A PROHIBITED ACT. THE COMMISSION OF A PROHIBITED ACT MAY CONSTITUTE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL LAWS. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: The Sponsor is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest or by any technical or human error that may occur in the administration of the Contest. The Sponsor does not assume responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, the entries. The Sponsor is not sw responsible for any problems, failures or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, on account of technical problems or otherwise. Each entrant assumes liability for injuries caused or claimed to be caused by participating in the Contest, or by the acceptance, possession, use of, or failure to receive any Prize. The Sponsor does not assume responsibility or liability in the event that the Contest cannot be conducted as planned for any reason, including those reasons beyond the control of the Sponsor, such as tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or corruption of the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest. USE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION: By participating in the Contest, each entrant: (a) grants to the Sponsor the right to use his/her name, mailing address, email address, city/province of residence, telephone number and age (the “Personal Information”) for the purpose of administering the Contest; (b) grants to the Sponsor the right to use his/her Personal Information, photograph, likeness, voice, prize information and/or biographical information for publicity and promotional purposes relating to the Contest in any and all media now known or hereafter devised without further compensation unless prohibited by law; and (c) acknowledges and agrees that his/her Personal Information shall be retained by the Sponsor for a period of approximately one (1) year from the time of collection. The entrant may elect to permit use of his/her Personal Information for purposes other than the Contest, including receipt of further information, samples or offers made available by Sponsor. The Sponsor will collect, use and disclose the entrant’s Personal Information only for purposes related to this Contest or as specifically permitted by entrant in the entry form, and will protect all Personal Information submitted in connection with the Contest in a manner that is consistent with the 1923MainStreet.com Privacy Policy. TERMINATION OF CONTEST/AMENDMENT OF CONTEST RULES: If, for any reason, the online portion of the contest is not capable of being completed as planned including, but not limited to computer virus, bugs, tampering, technical failures or other causes beyond the control of the Sponsor, the Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion to cancel, modify or suspend this Contest.
