My mother has been fighting cancer for two years and has had six operations within the last 18 months. She is a single parent and we live below the poverty line on her disability pay. She hasn’t worked for over two years, and I have three jobs as well as attend school full time in order to help with the expenses around the house. My father left over a year ago and he emptied our bank account on his way out. He is now living in Mexico and travelling the world. He is retired and therefore living on his pension. He pays the bare minimum to my mother in order to ‘help me out’, but at the same time he is attempting to sue my mom for more money. He doesn’t seem to understand that hurting her also hurts me. My mom has another surgery coming up to improve the look of her scar after her two thyroid surgeries and a tracheotomy. This spa and book package would be amazing for her after everything she’s been through!
