It would mean so much to me if I was the fortunate person to win this kitchen makeover. I became disabled in 2010 and tried to make a few changes to make my kitchen accessible. I would need a few more items to make my kitchen completely accessible. Good luck to everyone who enters this contest.I have been using Knorr, Helmans and Becel products for years.

I entered my sister into this contest because she so needs and deserves a good turn… Her handyman husband survived a heart attack four years ago, a stroke three years ago, and in this last year, a perforated intestine due to Crohn’s. With sad regret, we buried his mother, her mother-in-law, on Friday but there is little time for grieving as my sister continues to support her husband and son who are both receiving treatment for Crohn’s. She has asked for little for herself and is so deserving of a wonderful surprise.

I entered this contest because I have no idea what to do with my space. It is an incredible kitchen/living/dining room and I have not used or designed it to its fullest potential! Its very modern with concrete floors, exposed water pipes and need some serious renovation!!
    Good luck to everyone!

We have been in our house for 8 long years and I’ve hated our kitchen the whole time! My husband is the cheapest (oh sorry…most frugal) man alive and he doesn’t think there is anything wrong with just painting over your old varnished cabinets over and over again to cover up the big areas that just keep wearing off because nothing will really stick to varnish and it’s too much work to completely sand them down and then we’d have to replace the hinges and …. See where this is going? It’s a no win situation for our tired old kitchen!

  12. Maria R. says:

Definitely deserve to win as nothing works, everything is so worn out.

I have been disabled since 2007 and so we only have my husbands income. Would be a mirical if I won. My kitchen is the same as it was built over 60 yrs ago. The cupboards were made by a carpenter out of plywood. They are awful nothing fits in them , i’m always putting the boxes on there side because they won’t stand up.My kitchen is square and small and nothing seems to flow in it and there is not much room to move around . I would love to knock out a wall and make the dinning room and kitchen one. I hope and pray i will be lucky enough to win. My husband and I only use becel, it’s the best on the market!!

We are in need of a kitchen makeover and bathroom makeover also our roof is no good and we have no funds in my bathroom we can see down in the basement we are so afraid the kids are going to fall through it so yes we definitely need a makeover.

Please, I’ve been waiting 25 years now for my husband to renovate my tiny kitchen. When we first moved in 45 years ago, it took him 3 years before he finally finished the first renovation. Even then, it was not a great kitchen, but I managed to cook for my husband and 4 children with this kitchen. I truly wanted to get an updated kitchen before I’m too old to enjoy it. I love cooking and baking and do all the cooking around here.

We have been in our house for three years now. The first project was to re-do the kitchen. This has still not been done, due to cost and time we have not been able to accomplish this reno. My cupboards are the bleached oak very worn down and the wood floors have water damage and are also very worn.I love to decorate but even I cannot make this kitchen look better without a reno. A kitchen reno would be a dream come true. Thank You, Sharon

We have been in our home for 11 years and the kitchen and bathroom are the only rooms left to be updated. However the last few years have been a real struggle for myself and my husband with injury and medical difficulties which were not covered by insurance. A kitchen upgrade would be such a blessing to us; it is the hub of our home but is in need of help!! Thank you!!

I’d love to win a makeover for my parents….they have been through so much and continue to give to others without hesitation. Just once I would love something totally awesome to happen to them. Im the only surviving child from 6 and my parents are everything to me. I would love to help them win a makeover ..

  19. Michelle says:

I have entered this contest on behalf of my parents. They have not had their kitchen renovated in 30 years. My father was an athlete and a business owner. Recently he suffered from a heart attack and two strokes due to a rare blood disorder, leaving him permanently blind and on disability. Since then, their house has flooded, causing damage to two stories of their home. It took 3 years to try and get things renovated. The unthinkable happened and just this weekend they have experienced another flood! All this to say, I can’t think of anybody more deserving of this makeover than my parents. I would of course love to win for myself, but don’t necessarily ‘need’ it. However, my parents truly NEED this. Thank you!! 🙂

I like to think of the kitchen as my palace / happy place. Me and my children gather to cook, bake, talk, cry, eat, do homework, and dance in this space. Although I have only been in the home for 4 years, as a single mom, I will likely never have the dollars to upgrade my kitchen to my personal taste – I changed my chairs as a little style upgrade – but that’s all I can do. My 3 children are so grateful to enjoy their homemade meals even on hockey nights- taking homemade pizza on pizza day to school – up at 5:30 to ensure it is ready. I need a new dishwasher mine is not connected to the counter and wiggles – dishes are dirty after the cycle, my white counter is peeling in places, the backsplash is dated and ugly, and it is fairly large has sooo much potential. I had a flood on August 4th in my basement, still have to redo the laundry room and finish the work downstairs….like a door on the bathroom, floors etc There is only so much money to go around…..so as I dream….the thought of a new kitchen would be absolutely a gift!

Help! I sold my own home to join forces with a Hippie! I’m living in a converted hay barn. A true throwback to the 1970’s. And my man is totally cool with it. If it’s not broke..why upgrade? Please help…I’m drowning in shag carpet!

Winning this contest would be a dream come true!! My kitchen is from the 70’s and is seriously in need of a complete renovation.

  23. Francine says:

Hi, we purchased our bungalow (1200 sq. feet) @ 30 years ago and have tried to “update the kitchen” by painting over the original squeaky cupboards, nailing down a few drawers (yep, was a hazard for sensitive toes), putting in our neighbours (old island), painting over (twice) the freakin’ popcorn ceiling and installing ceramic tiles (which I have despised for the past 10+ years!). I desperately need some HELP as our kitchen is joined with our dining room/living room. I have no shame in admitting that I have absolutely NO SENSE of colour/design as I cannot visualize how it would/should come together. Winning this kitchen makeover would be AMAZING…I have a hard hat/glasses/safety boots and am ready after the holidays for demolition!

  24. Carol says:
