My home is sold, and I have found another place – but move in June.
I do have pictures of the backyard, and it can definitely use some work.
I wonder if you can choose your own date? Or do you have to use it by a specific date? In other words, hope it can be used after June 14th 😉 lol
Why cant Quebec residents enter the contest of backyard makeover?
I can’t believe I missed this by one day! I have been so dis-heartened by our backyard for 2 years. We installed a beautiful inground pool in 2010 and have very much been enjoying it. However, we became “pool poor”. We poured so much money into the install, we didn’t think about the cost of landscaping AROUND the pool. Now we have a beautiful oasis surrounded by piles of mud, weeds and random patio blocks. It makes me sad because there is no hope anytime soon. I have recently gone back to school to become a teacher and am racking up student loans and credit line debt. We can afford a little for small projects but no where near what we need to finish our backyard. I just said on the weekend, “maybe we could win a backyard makeover,” and then upon research, I find this site. Oh well, next year I guess. 🙂
I have been living in my house since 2006, and i don’t know what to do with my backyard, it is not pretty to look at. i can’t invite anyone to a bbq because i am embarce to take anyone to sit outside, please i am not just asking i am begin you to come and help me even if i don’t win this contest, i am still begin someone to come and help me design my backyard so it will look amazing so i could have friends and family over for a bbq. i could also finely sit and enjoy the beautiful summer. please,please help me. thank you from the botton of my heart.
