WHY IS ALL YOUR CONTESTS REQUIRE A CELLPHONE NOMBER????????? I DO NOT BELIVE THAT THAT’S FAIR TO THE PEOPLE THAT DO NOT HAVE CELLPHONES. I DID A CURVEY , THEY ASKED IF I HAD A CELLPHONE I ANSWER NO! THE RESULT WAS 63% SAID NO. 37% SAID YES. SO PLEASE EXPLAIN WHY IT IS ONLY FOR THE 37% OF PEOPLE TO WIN????????????????????

when they ask for a cell phone number..i just give my home phone..now tell me..how will they know the difference? hmmmm…
They want your cell Number so they can text you and charge you every time they do it. Big scam to make money. I never give my cell number any longer because I got $300 of charges from a company like this

I understand there is always a catch to most of these contests, however my problem is why do reputable companies like Walmart and Canadian Tire allow their associations with these scams. (I am responding to Julia M’s statement)I have never given my cell phone number, to be honest I don’t text and don’t know how, and I am fine with that.
if you do have a cell phone # and you do get a text message from a company..all you have to do is hit REPLY..and then the word ‘STOP’..that will make them quit sending text messages to you…a hint for y’all..;-))
I have never given out my cell phone number as I only have pay and talk. I don’t believe I have won fewer contests because of that.
