The l’oreal contest is only for women up to the age of 39. it doesn’t allow a mature women to enter. I think that it should be offered to a variety of ages. Very disappointing
This is ageism. I think it truly is insulting to older women, if 40 is older; I am 57 in a week, so must be ancient, apparently. This is like segregating women into what? cool and uncool? okay and not? If I can now avoid buying L’Oreal products which I have often bought to this point, I will. I am going to tell my 21 year old daughter (last year at university, very interactive and busy, studying women’s issues) and 16 year old daughter to avoid buying your products. This contest may just lose you more clients than it is going to gain; one so far, anyway: me.
I’m pretty sure that the L’Oreal people don’t read this blog, but I’m ancient too…45.
Too bad they don’t realize there are a lot more of us over 40 than there are under – have they never heard of the baby-boom???
We can do without L’Oreal – but can they do without us?? Good thing other companies know how valuable we are!!!
