michael..me thinks that the mexicans now require visas to enter canada ..because of the recent health scare..obviously canada wants ‘healthy’ individuals to be coming to our country..that’s a given eh! canadians are killed in mexico..i believe..because they are in the wrong place at the wrong time…i would stay out of nightclubs at night, walking down dangerous streets etc etc..my trip to cancun last year, was safe..because we kept with bus tours, did not go out on our own, and minded our p’s and q’s…it is like that in many countries..you have to stay in numbers, like taking bus tours, there is always safety in numbers, then wandering off alone in areas one does not know! anyways..i have been down the baja peninsula…from tijuana to enseneda and to mazatlan and like i say cancun and places around that..and have never had a problem..one always has to excercise caution and prudence..no matter where they are..anyways..that is my opinion and thanks for yours! ;))
